To fat for short hair?

Lately I feel like I am needing some kind of a change. I have lost 6 lbs from dieting and excercise..but some how I feel it is not enough! :( I would love to cut my hair short but I am being such a chicken about it!!! I have never had my hair very short. It has always been pretty long or shoulder length. Maybe it's because I am afraid shorter hair would make me look fat? Lol, I need an opinion I guess. But here are some pictures of what I like so far.... obviously not the color but the cut is what I am really liking.

Well this Mother's day was very special to me. Michael made his first Mother's day gift for me at school! Which I absolutley loved!! I think it means more when your kids make something from the heart and took alot of time to do it. Sure his teacher planned it but he was very excited to give it to me. I loved how his face showed how eager he was just to see my reaction. Sam also got me a digital photo frame. Which is awesome because now I can put these pictures on that frame and see em' everyday! I hope everyone had a great mother's day :)

Ohh how I miss mi abuelito and abuela!! for all you non-spanish speakers I miss my grandfather and grandmother:(

These are my paternal grandparents they are so cute together! I hope one day my hubby and I will be in love like this :)

I am happy to be coming home this Christmas, but I am also not looking forward to being in the states with all the drama. And by drama I mean...layoffs, swine-flu, high gas prices, but most of all and most importantly I might add....my husband may be deployed when we get back! And this will be our very first experience with a deployment. Yes, we have been very fortunate to have veered away from them, but now it is over our heads like a big black cloud. I pray to God that he will be safe. But most of all I pray that he does not have to go!!! I know.. I feel ashamed...I should be proud to have him go and fight for our country, and other countries rights to be free. But I can't help but want him home where he should be. Watching our babies grow and maybe possibly adding to our little family. Ughh I am just rambling now... anyway the point of this blog was that we are coming home to the good ol' U.S.A.! We are going to miss Okinawa, Japan. Despite not being able to shop at Wal-Mart, this place and the people have been good to us. If we ever get an oportunity to come back we will be happy too.
